I am one who acknowledges the ancient. I am one who is her best at dawn. I am one who enjoys having solitary time in nature. I am one who has a close connection to the earth.
As I get ready to go hunting and gathering today, I am reminded how much I love spending my Saturday mornings with Rod looking for things at garage sales. The early morning hunt, it fulfills an ancient yearning. I feel a basic need to hunt & gather. Since I am not interested in hunting animals and birds, it is a great substitute for the need that is in my genetic make up.
