On Ice
I am one who feels like she has been put on ice. I am one who is wondering when the hibernation ends.
I apply for jobs daily and get no response. At some point something will open up, but I feel very out of step with the world right now.
I can relate to how you are feeling about looking for work. I, too, feel like I just came out of hibernation after a long winter of preparation, and now it's time to come out of my cave. Spring brings new possibilities, rebirth, renewal. Since I wasn't finding the jobs that were right for me, I decided to volunteer at some women's organizations and conduct a couple of SoulCollage workshops. I am thinking if I build it it (the work) will come--and it is in surprising, magical ways.
